Mornin' All!
Seems some kind of friggin' vermin (at least I hope it's vermin) has made it's way under the only inaccessable part of my deck, right next to the house, and died.
I woke up this morning and the entire house smelled like dead animal...
I've been stripping the old finish off the deck this past week and I don't think Mr. Woodchuck has been too keen on that. I believe he has buggered out.

I know that a family of bunnies call that part of my deck home, but they could have had the decency of vacating before they died!!
Aside of the bunnies and the occasional possum the only other wildlife I get are turtles and ducks from the lake. They come out every May and August-September and lay eggs in different peoples landscaping.
I had 3 different duck nests in the shrubs on the side of my house last summer. The (tree-hugger) landscaper wouldn't trim the shrubs because he didn't want to disturb the ducks, so by this summer I had about 4 bushes that were totally out of control. Thank God the ducks didn't come back to nest there this year and they got trimmed down!!
not wanting to disturb nesting ducks sounds pretty fucking reasonable to me.
I had no idea snipping branches or some shit WOULD disturb a duck, besides, duck's can hold their own, at least, I know Geese can... let's not forget the Canadian Geese massacre of '95!
You're damn right those geese can hold their own!! There's a park downtown where they seem to migrate to and nest, and it's gotten so bad that those geese will chase you out of the park by the hundreds! It's very unerving to be chased by 150 geese all hissing at you. Not to mention trying not to step in thousands of geese's poo!
Tea please.
...laws, you city-folk are soft! Geese are easy to manage, you just grab that neck right behing their heads and give 'em a good whirl--like cracking a whip. That calms 'em right down. Permanently. Works on ducks, too.
LOL, are you entering the extermination business DA? Cause I'd be willing to pay to see you swing a thousand geese like whips with them talons of yours.
*Weeeeeeeeee-SQUACK!*
